Terms of Use (EULA)

The agreement between you and AppLabsTabs for using OMG. It covers who can use the app (adults only, age-verified), our zero-tolerance rules, how moderation and appeals work, and exactly what you get when you buy Premium, coins or send a gift.

01This agreement

These Terms of Use (the "Terms") are a legally binding agreement between you and AppLabsTabs, a company established in the United Kingdom ("AppLabsTabs", "OMG", "we", "us"), for your use of the OMG mobile app, this website and the related services we provide (together, the "Service"). They also serve as the end-user licence agreement (EULA) for the OMG app.

By creating an account, tapping Accept, or using the Service, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Community Guidelines, which are part of these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use OMG.

Zero tolerance. OMG has a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive users. Content or behaviour that breaks the Community Guidelines is removed, and the responsible account can be suspended or permanently closed, without prior notice.

02Eligibility: 18+ and age verification

To use OMG you must:

  • be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement;
  • complete our age verification (your date of birth and a one-time selfie age check, described in the Privacy Policy) honestly and with your own face;
  • not have been previously suspended or removed from OMG; and
  • not be prohibited from using the Service under the laws of your country.

We may ask you to repeat the age check at any time — for example if members report that you appear to be under 18 — and we may suspend or close an account while a check is outstanding. Providing a false date of birth, using someone else's face, a photo, a screen or any other means to pass the age check is a material breach of these Terms and leads to permanent closure.

03Your account

  • You sign in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for keeping your device and those accounts secure, and for everything that happens under your OMG account.
  • One person, one account. You may not create an account for anyone else, share, sell or transfer your account, or create a new account after we have closed one.
  • Your username, photos and bio must be yours and must not impersonate any person, brand or organisation.
  • Tell us at hello@applabstabs.com immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

04Licence & acceptable use

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the OMG app on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with these Terms and the app store's usage rules.

You agree not to:

  • use OMG for any commercial purpose — advertising, solicitation, promoting other services, or selling anything;
  • access the Service by any means other than the official app, or scrape, crawl, or use bots or automation;
  • reverse-engineer, decompile, modify, or create derivative works of the app;
  • interfere with the Service, bypass rate limits, age or safety checks, or use exploits;
  • use OMG in any way that violates applicable law or the rights of others.

05Community Guidelines & zero tolerance

The full Community Guidelines are part of these Terms. In summary, the following are strictly prohibited anywhere on OMG — in calls, messages, photos, usernames and bios:

  • Sexual or explicit content of any kind, including nudity, sexual acts, sexual solicitation and fetish content.
  • Any involvement of minors — being under 18, sexualising minors, or seeking contact with them. This is reported to the authorities.
  • Hate, harassment, threats and violence — attacking anyone for who they are, bullying, intimidation, self-harm content, or gore.
  • Privacy violations — recording, screenshotting or streaming a call without consent; sharing someone's private information or images.
  • Scams, fraud and commercial solicitation — asking for money, gifts or personal details under false pretences; promoting products, links or other platforms.
  • Spam and platform abuse — bots, mass messaging, fake profiles, manipulating reports or gifts, evading bans.
  • Illegal activity — including the sale of drugs or weapons, or any other conduct that is unlawful where you or the other person are.

We apply these rules with zero tolerance: a single verified violation of the sexual content, minors, privacy, or illegal-activity rules leads to permanent closure. Other violations lead to content removal, warnings, suspension or closure depending on severity and history.

06Your content

You own the photos, text and other content you provide ("Your Content"). So that we can run the Service you grant AppLabsTabs a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt (for example to resize photos), display and distribute Your Content to other members as part of the Service, and to review it for safety, for as long as it remains on OMG plus the retention periods in the Privacy Policy.

You confirm that you have the right to share Your Content, that it shows you (for profile photos), and that it complies with these Terms. We may remove or refuse any content at our discretion. We do not claim ownership of Your Content and do not use it to advertise OMG without your separate permission.

07Moderation, reporting, enforcement & appeals

  • Screening. Photos, usernames and bios are reviewed by automated systems and, where needed, by our moderators before or shortly after they become visible. Content that fails review is removed.
  • Reporting and blocking. You can report or block any member from their profile, a call or a conversation. We review reports as quickly as we can, prioritising anything involving minors, sexual content or threats. The reported person is not told who reported them.
  • Enforcement. We may remove content, limit features, suspend or permanently close an account, and block the associated device or sign-in identity — with or without notice — when we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached, or when the law or a court requires it. Accounts reported or blocked by several independent members within a short period may be suspended automatically pending review.
  • Appeals. If your account is suspended you will see the reason in the app and can submit an appeal there. A person reviews every appeal. Our decision after an appeal is final.
  • Records. We keep evidence of violations for up to 90 days and a hashed record of closed accounts for as long as the closure lasts, as described in the Privacy Policy.
  • Law enforcement. We cooperate with law enforcement and report apparent child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and the relevant authorities.

08Video & voice calls

  • Calls are live and are not recorded by OMG. When automated call moderation is active, single frames may be sampled and analysed for prohibited content; you can report a call at any time.
  • You may not record, screenshot, screen-share, stream or otherwise capture any part of a call or another member's image without their explicit consent. Doing so is a privacy violation under the Community Guidelines and leads to permanent closure and, where appropriate, a report to the authorities.
  • Call minutes may be limited by your plan or coin balance; the app shows your remaining time. Minutes are counted by our servers, whose record is authoritative.
  • Call quality depends on your device and network. We do not guarantee that a call will connect or stay connected.

09Messaging

Direct messages are for personal conversation between members who have connected. Messages are subject to the Community Guidelines and may be reviewed when a report or appeal makes it necessary. Do not share payment details, passwords, or links to other platforms, and never send money to someone you met on OMG.

10Premium subscriptions

OMG Premium (also shown as "PRO" in the app) is an auto-renewing subscription sold through the App Store or Google Play in weekly, quarterly (3-month) and yearly plans. Premium unlocks features described on the paywall at the time of purchase (for example sending call invites, filters, social links and a Premium badge); the exact set of features may change over time.

  • Billing and renewal. Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically for the same period at the price shown, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Cancelling. Manage or cancel in your device's subscription settings (App Store: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions; Google Play: Payments & subscriptions). Deleting the app or your OMG account does not cancel the subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period; you keep Premium until then.
  • Price changes. If we change the price, the app store will notify you in advance and, where required, ask you to agree before the new price applies.
  • Refunds. Purchases are made from Apple or Google, and refunds are governed by their policies; request a refund through the store that billed you. We cannot issue refunds for purchases made through the app stores.
  • Right to cancel (UK/EU consumers). Digital content is delivered immediately. By subscribing you ask us to start providing Premium straight away and acknowledge that you lose the statutory 14-day right to cancel once access has begun, without prejudice to any refund rights offered by the app store.
  • Restore purchases. Use "Restore purchases" in the app to re-activate a subscription on a new device signed into the same Apple or Google account.

11Coins (virtual items)

Coins are a virtual currency used inside OMG — for example to extend call time or send gifts. You can buy coin packs through the app stores and may receive coins from us as a promotion or goodwill gesture.

  • Coins are a limited licence to use a feature of the Service, not property. They have no monetary value, cannot be redeemed for cash, sold, traded or transferred outside the Service, and cannot be transferred to another member except by sending a gift.
  • Coins do not expire while your account is open. They are forfeited when your account is deleted or permanently closed for a breach of these Terms.
  • Coin purchases are final; refunds are handled only by the app store that billed you under its policies.
  • Coins we grant for free (promotions, compensation, testing) are discretionary; we may adjust or remove them if granted in error or abused.
  • We may change the price, the features coins unlock, or discontinue coins with reasonable notice.

12Gifts

During a call you can send a gift, which transfers coins from your balance to the other member's balance. Gifts are a way to show appreciation inside OMG — they are not payments, tips for services, or a way to move money.

  • Received coins can only be used inside OMG; they cannot be withdrawn, cashed out or exchanged.
  • A gift, once sent, cannot be reversed by the sender. If a purchase behind a gift is refunded or found to be fraudulent, we may remove the corresponding coins from either balance.
  • Any refund relating to a gift can only be made to the original purchaser, through the app store.
  • Requesting or pressuring anyone for gifts, or using gifts as part of a scam, is prohibited.

13Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties — Apple and Google for sign-in, distribution and payments; LiveKit for real-time media; Google, Anthropic, OpenAI and Amazon Web Services for hosting, storage and automated moderation (see the Privacy Policy). Their terms apply to their services. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

14Intellectual property & feedback

The OMG app, website, name, logo, design and all software are owned by AppLabsTabs or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trade mark and other laws. Except for the licence above, nothing in these Terms gives you any right in them. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without obligation to you.

15Termination

  • By you: delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Settings → Delete Account) — see how deletion works.
  • By us: we may suspend or close your account for breach of these Terms, for safety reasons, where required by law, or if we discontinue the Service (with reasonable notice in that case).
  • Effect: your licence ends, your profile is removed, coins are forfeited, and any active subscription must be cancelled by you through the app store. Sections that by their nature should survive (content licence for retained evidence, disclaimers, liability, governing law) continue to apply.

16Disclaimers

OMG connects you with other people in real time. We do not carry out criminal-background checks on members. Age verification and profile screening reduce risk but cannot guarantee anyone's identity, age or intentions. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other members — please follow our safety tips and never share money or personal details.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that content provided by members is accurate or lawful.

17Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law — including your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and equivalent laws where you live.

Subject to that, we are not liable for any loss or damage that was not foreseeable when you agreed to these Terms, for the conduct or content of other members, for loss of data, or for any business loss. Our total liability to you for all claims relating to the Service in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of £50 and the amount you paid us through the app stores in that period.

18Your responsibility for breaches

If your breach of these Terms or your content causes a claim against AppLabsTabs, you agree to compensate us for the losses, costs and reasonable legal fees we incur as a result, to the extent permitted by the law where you live.

19Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you also benefit from any mandatory protections of the law of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts of that country as well as in England and Wales. If you are in the EU, you may also raise a dispute through your local consumer protection body. Before starting any proceedings, please contact us at hello@applabstabs.com — most issues can be resolved quickly and informally.

20Additional terms for the App Store & Google Play

If you downloaded OMG from Apple's App Store, the following also applies. These Terms are between you and AppLabsTabs only, not Apple; Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. The licence is limited to use on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store's Usage Rules. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) of the app to you; to the maximum extent permitted by law Apple has no other warranty obligation. AppLabsTabs, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance and consumer protection claims, and for the investigation and resolution of any third-party intellectual property claim. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as "terrorist supporting", and that you are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

If you downloaded OMG from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service and Google's payment policies also apply to your download and purchases; in the event of conflict about payments, Google's terms prevail for the transaction.

21Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the Service, the law or our practices. The date at the top shows the current version. For material changes we will notify you in the app or by email before they take effect; continuing to use OMG after that date means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and delete your account.
